The 16th Annual #RunForKatie 5K celebrates Katie Oppo’s legacy while funding critical ovarian cancer research, including small cell ovarian. Every step we take together honors her memory and brings us closer to breakthroughs that save lives.

With your support, we are seeking to continue to deliver on our mission to increase awareness and fund research for the prevention, treatment, and cure of Small Cell Carcinoma of the Ovary Hypercalcemic Type (SCCOHT) – a rare and life-threatening disease – as well as all forms of ovarian cancer, in memory of our beloved Katie Oppo, who passed 15 years ago from SCCOHT.

This year, the Katie Oppo Research Fund 5K is more meaningful than ever, we are celebrating 16 years of running and 15 years of remembering Katie.
Join us on Sunday, June 14th at Flower Hill Village Park in Manhasset, NY (Bonnie Heights Road & Port Washington Blvd) at 9:00 AM, rain or shine, as we come together for our timed and certified 5K. Run, walk, sign up solo, or form a team - every step helps raise critical funds for ovarian cancer research.
